Salary Package Optimization

In a context of increasing competition in the labour market, the salary package represents a strategic lever to attract, motivate, and retain talent. While respecting the wage norm, it is possible to structure compensation in a smart way so that it reflects the company’s philosophy: valuing presence, encouraging collective results, or rewarding fairly the commitment and contribution of each employee.
A well-considered approach also makes it possible to optimize compensation from a tax and social security contribution perspective, in order to offer an attractive package for employees while keeping costs under control for the employer. Mobility Budget

The mobility budget allows an employee to replace their company car with a budget equivalent to the total cost of the vehicle, which can be used for more sustainable mobility solutions. This scheme, introduced in Belgium in 2019, is part of the transition towards more flexible and environmentally friendly mobility.
The legislation is evolving and companies that offer company cars will also have to offer the mobility budget to eligible employees, with a gradual implementation depending on the size of the company.
As HR & payroll consultants, we support companies in implementing the mobility budget in three steps:
  • a preliminary analysis to estimate the financial impact,
  • support in defining the internal policy,
  • end follow-up of the operational implementation of the mobility account.

Time keeping

Working time registration is becoming a major issue for companies, both to ensure legal compliance and to improve time management. This development is part of the framework of Directive 2003/88/EC on working time and the case law of the Court of Justice of the European Union (judgment C-55/18 of 14 May 2019), which requires the implementation of an objective, reliable and accessible system enabling the measurement of working time.
In Belgium, the government has announced the introduction of a general obligation to register working time starting on 1 January 2027.
As independent HR & payroll consultants, we support companies in implementing or optimising their working time registration system. Our neutral and independent approach allows us to identify the solutions available on the market that best suit your organisation.

Pay transparency

Pay transparency is becoming a key issue for companies with the entry into force of the European Directive (EU) 2023/970 of 10 May 2023 on pay transparency aimed at strengthening equal pay between women and men. Companies will progressively need to adapt their practices and reporting systems.
Belgium must transpose this directive into national law by 7 June 2026 at the latest.
As HR & payroll consultants, we support the companies concerned in analysing and structuring their compensation policy.

In Belgium, absenteeism represents a major challenge for companies. According to statistics from the National Institute for Health and Disability Insurance (INAMI/RIZIV), more than 526,000 people were on long-term work incapacity in 2025, illustrating the growing scale of the phenomenon.
